Donor and Supporter Tours
Following the Media announcement on 16th March, 2026, our community - our donors and supporters were allowed unprecedented access to the new Palliative Care space before it was open for patients..
The community of Orange has been exceeding generous in supporting the World Class End of Life Care project. The project has provided 3 purpose, Architect-designed bedrooms that are 30% larger that other hospital rooms complete with ensuites, a spacious lounge/ dining area with kitchenette, and courtyard which is open to the outside with floor to ceiling glass.
The community has provided the extras that have made the spaces warm & home-like: artwork by local artists, large photography images of Orange landscapes by Alf Manciagli, a stunning Mural by local Wiradjiri man Sandon Gibbs-O’Neill, a Childrens Corner illustrated by Freya Blackwood, cuddle beds and 30 hand-made quilts by local quilters.
OP4P wished to thank all our major donors & supporters. Our Major Donors:
OCTEC LTD, Cadia Newmont, Orange Hospital Auxiliary, Bloomfield Hospital Auxiliary, Cancer Care Western, Orange City Council, Alf Manciagli, Orange Aboriginal Medical Service, Orange Lions Club, Canobolas Lions Club.
